Faucet and Fixture Services in Woodland Hills, CA
A leaking faucet wastes water, runs up your bill, and slowly turns into an eyesore. A new fixture changes the entire feel of a room. Bryco Plumbing handles both, plus everything in between, for Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, and Ventura County homeowners. After 30+ years of installs and repairs on every brand sold in California, from basic builder-grade to high-end European, we know which fixtures last, which fail, and which ones we will not install because the manufacturer makes them impossible to service down the road. License #708581. Honest opinions, code-compliant installs.

- Kitchen faucet repair and replacement including pull-down sprayers, pot fillers, bar sink faucets, and high-end specialty fixtures.
- Bathroom faucet repair and replacement including widespread, single-hole, and wall-mount configurations.
- Shower valve and trim replacement including pressure-balancing valves required by current California code.
- Tub spout and tub filler installation for both standard tubs and freestanding soaking tubs.
- Toilet replacement from standard two-piece to high-efficiency, comfort-height, and one-piece designer toilets.
- Hose bib and outdoor fixture replacement including frost-free hose bibs for the colder Valley nights.

Common Faucet and Fixture Problems We Fix
The repairs we handle most often in Valley homes, and what usually causes them.
Dripping Faucets
Almost always a cartridge or seat issue. We replace the cartridge, valve seats, and O-rings. The repair takes under an hour for most brands. We carry common cartridges on every truck.
Low Flow or No Flow at a Single Fixture
Usually an aerator clogged with hard water mineral buildup, sometimes a partially blocked supply line, occasionally a failing angle stop. Diagnosis is quick. Fix depends on the cause.
Loose or Wobbly Faucet Base
The mounting nut underneath the sink has worked loose. We tighten properly without scratching the finish or damaging the sink. If the faucet is decades old and the threads are gone, it is sometimes a replacement situation.
Shower Valve Issues
Cartridge failures, temperature control problems, leaks behind the wall. Modern California code requires pressure-balancing valves for new construction, so older shower valves often need to be brought up to current standards during any significant work.
Toilet Problems
Running constantly (flapper or fill valve), weak flush (mineral buildup in the rim jets or a worn flush valve), leak at the base (failed wax ring), or rocking (loose closet flange). We address all of them. New toilets are also a quick replacement when the existing one is past its prime.

Choosing the Right Fixture
- Brand matters more than finish. A reputable brand (Moen, Delta, Kohler, Grohe, Hansgrohe, Brizo) backs its products with parts availability for decades. Off-brand fixtures often have no replaceable parts within five years of purchase.
- Cartridge type matters. Ceramic disc cartridges last decades. Compression and ball valves wear faster. We will tell you what kind of cartridge any fixture uses.
- Match the fixture to the water. The Valley's hard water is harder on some finishes than others. Brushed nickel and matte black tend to hide water spots better than chrome. Living finishes like unlacquered brass develop a patina that some homeowners love and others hate.
- Code-compliant fixtures only. California has flow rate requirements that have tightened over the years. We install only fixtures that meet current code.
Our Take
Not all faucets are created equal. After installing thousands of fixtures, we have opinions. We back every install and plumbing repair with a written warranty on parts and labor.

Frequently Asked Questions About Faucets and Fixtures
If the faucet is less than 8 to 10 years old and is from a brand with parts availability, repair almost always makes sense. If it is older than that, or it is a brand whose parts are no longer made, replacement is usually the smarter call. We will tell you which side of that line your specific situation falls on.
Yes. We install homeowner-supplied fixtures regularly. We will inspect the fixture before installation to confirm it is compatible with your supply lines and rough-in, and to flag any concerns about quality or warranty. If it is a brand we have reservations about, we will let you know so you can decide whether to return it.
A standard kitchen or bathroom faucet replacement takes 1 to 2 hours, including cleanup. Shower valve replacements take longer (3 to 5 hours) because they require accessing the valve behind the wall. We give a written time estimate before starting.
Yes. The fixture itself carries the manufacturer’s warranty (usually 1 to lifetime depending on brand and component). Our labor is warrantied as well. Both are documented in writing on your invoice.

I normally have a plumber that I use, but unfortunately he was out of town, so last night around 6:30 PM I called Bryco Plumbing because my toilet was clogged. To my surprise, Bryan, the owner, answered the phone himself after hours. He was extremely nice, answered all of my questions, and told me he could have someone out first thing in the morning. This morning, Joshua came to the house. He was polite, professional, efficient, and had the toilet fixed within an hour. From calling at 6:30 at night and having the owner actually answer the phone, to having someone at my house the next morning and the problem taken care of quickly, the entire experience was fantastic. I am so thrilled that I ended up calling Bryco Plumbing. I almost never leave reviews, but when a company provides this level of service, I feel like you have to pass along the praise. Bryco Plumbing definitely earned a new customer. Highly recommend!Posted on Google Paige McmillenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. On time, courteous, fair price, and sink and tub are draining well. Simi resident thanks youPosted on Google Richard DeemTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The technician, Dan, spent a number of hours replacing a broken, difficultly positioned anti-siphon valve and shutoff valve. Since the shutoff valve was broken, he had to turn off the main water line, which required calling out LADWP. Dan replaced the shutoff valve and elevated the new anti-siphon valve to make it easier to service. Dan was professional, friendly and worked systematically through very warm summer temperatures. Very nice work through a challenging task.Posted on Google Susan BernardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Leak detection.
